Alive sent a congratulations card to Malala Yousafzai , the 17 year old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012 for campaigning on behalf of girls’ education in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. She was awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize this week along with India’s Kailash Satyarthi, a campaigner to end child labour.
