Our aim

The PTA is an active partnership between the parents and teachers of students at Dominican College Sion Hill, working together to further common interests.

Our aims include:

• To support the college and management in their work,
• To foster co-operation between home and school,
• To provide a forum for the views of parents and
• To promote the educational welfare interest of the students.

All parents

All parents of students attending Sion Hill College are deemed members of the PTA. In practice a group of representatives elected at the PTA AGM, in September each year, meet as the PTA committee to organise events during the year. The current committee is listed below.

Our work includes assisting at school events such as the Musical and Annual Table Quiz, organising informative talks, providing Debs reception for Debs & their parents, and every two years running our main fundraiser; the very popular Family Fun Day. Updates will be provided through end of term newsletters.

The PTA committee maintain a list of parent volunteers who are not available to join the committee but wish to participate and help out at larger events. If you would like your name included please email
